Furthermore, students are trained in tangible skills like lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management. About the program:
Offered on a full-time basis with a limited capacity, this program is accessible at both Montreal campuses. There’s the flexibility of attending day, evening, or weekend courses. Moreover, the program is available in both English and French. A crucial component of the curriculum is a mandatory internship within a company, ensuring students gain practical experience.
Program objectives:
The aim of the program revolves around equipping students with comprehensive insights into the physical, material, and pedagogical management of child care facilities. Graduates will be proficient in ensuring safety and adept at assessing the unique needs of each child. Furthermore, they’ll cultivate an environment that fosters holistic child development across multiple dimensions – be it psychological, educational, psychomotor, cognitive, linguistic, social, emotional, or moral. Additionally, graduates will be adept at collaborating with their peers, parents, and community partners.
In adherence to government mandates, it’s essential for educators to be certified in first aid.

During the course of the program, the student must complete 885 hours of theory and 375 hours of practical courses, for a total of 1,260 hours.
