Eligibility for Admission:
Applicants should meet one of the following criteria:
Individuals possessing a Secondary School Diploma or its recognized equivalent, such as an Attestation of Equivalence of Secondary V studies, or higher education diplomas like the Diploma of College Studies or a Bachelor’s degree.
OR
Individuals aged 16 or above as of September 30 of the intended school year, having achieved Secondary V credits in the instruction language and Secondary IV credits in a secondary language and mathematics, as per the programs determined by the Minister, or with acknowledged equivalent education.
OR
Individuals aged 18 or older at the start of the program, with the following functional prerequisites: a passed General Development Test, Secondary V credits in the instruction language as per the Minister’s established program, or recognized equivalent learning.
OR
Individuals with Secondary III credits in the instruction language, secondary language, and mathematics, as per the Minister’s determined programs, who will simultaneously pursue their general education to attain the remaining credits: Secondary V in the instruction language and Secondary IV in a second language and mathematics, as outlined by the Minister.
Functional Prerequisites for Vocational Studies:
Those aged 18 and above can enter a program leading to a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) based on functional prerequisites. For such individuals starting a vocational training program, the prerequisites are: passing the General Development Test (GDT) and successfully clearing tests related to specific prerequisites in the instruction language and mathematics, if needed.

If new CCBE and DBE course codes are being progressively implemented, the old codes, which remain valid, are mentioned in brackets. If a DVS doesn’t require any specific prerequisites in instruction language or mathematics, a (-) is shown in the respective field. Note that functional prerequisites are not relevant for Attestation of Vocational Specialty (AVS) programs.
